Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Your contact list is your business. This policy explains, in plain language, what Danny CRM collects, why, and how you stay in control of it.
Who we are
Danny CRM is made by Vidagdhan Technologies, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India ("we"). This policy covers the Danny CRM Android app and its servers. For questions, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Your account: the name, email address and account ID from the Google account you sign in with, the name you use in the app, your business name and its default country code.
- What you add: contacts and their details (name, mobile number, email, company, position, tags and custom fields), notes, and the history the app records for each contact.
- Quick actions: when you tap Call, Text, WhatsApp or Email, we record that you did, when, and the number or address used. We don't record calls or read your messages.
- Subscription status: if you subscribe, Google Play tells us the plan, its status and renewal date. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or bank details.
- Usage and crash data: counts of actions such as "contact created" or "search used" (never what you typed or who the contact is), crash reports, and device and app version details needed to fix problems.
- App integrity: a check from Google Play that requests come from the genuine app, which protects your account from abuse.
The app doesn't read your phone's address book, call log, SMS or files, and doesn't use your location.
Where your contacts are stored
Free plan: your contacts and their history are kept on your phone only. They are not backed up to our servers, so uninstalling the app, signing out or losing the phone deletes them. Your account details above are still stored on our servers.
Pro plan: your contacts and their history are also stored on our servers, so you can restore them on another phone. If Pro ends, the copy on our servers is kept until you delete your account, so you can restore it later.
How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, show and back up your data, and apply your plan.
- To keep it secure: verify sign-ins and app integrity, prevent abuse and investigate problems.
- To improve it: understand which features are used and fix crashes.
- To contact you about your account, and, only if you agree, with tips and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
What we never do
We don't sell your data or your contacts' data, don't show ads in the app, don't use your contacts for marketing, and don't use your data to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers, only to run Danny CRM, under their data-protection terms:
- Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Google Play)
- Amazon Web Services (the servers that run our API)
- Cloudflare (network security and delivery)
Your data may be processed in India and in other countries where these providers operate. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
The people in your contacts
The contacts you add are people you deal with. You decide what to store about them and are responsible for having a lawful reason to do so. We process their details only on your behalf, to provide the app to you. If someone asks us about their data, we will refer them to you.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted. Devices can't read the database directly: every request goes through our server, which checks who is asking and that the request comes from the genuine app, and only ever returns your own business's data. Data stored with Google Cloud is encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you promptly if a breach affects it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, business, contacts and history are deleted from our servers straight away (or within 30 days if you ask us by email). Crash and usage data is kept for up to 14 months by Google. Payment records are kept by Google Play as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or Australia's Privacy Act), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to some uses. You can delete everything yourself in the app (how to delete your account), or write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
Danny CRM is a business tool, not meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For important changes we will also tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
